2016 Z-Club Scholarship Winners Announced!

Each year, the Zonta Club of Findlay holds a geranium sale in the month of May. Proceeds from the sale go into our scholarship fund. This years Z-Club winners have been announced!

 

2Genna Zachrich is a 2015 Liberty-Benton High School graduate.  She is the recipient of a $1000 Beth Kobesczka Memorial Scholarship. Genna attends Bluffton University where she is a sophomore pursuing a degree in Middle Childhood Education with a concentration in Math and Science.

 

 

 

 

KKBartchlettevin Bartchlett is a 2016 Liberty-Benton High School graduate. He is the recipient of a $1000 L-B  Z-Club Scholarship. Kevin will attend Carnegie Mellon University, where he will major in Information Systems / Computer Science.

 

 

 

 

Matthew LMatt Loughmanoughman is a 2016 Liberty-Benton High School graduate. He is the recipient of a $500 L-B  Z-Club Scholarship. He will be a freshman at Owens Community College, majoring in Athletic Training.

 

 

 

 

Andrew LAndrew Loughmanoughman is a 2016 Liberty-Benton High School graduate. He is the recipient of a $500 L-B  Z-Club Scholarship. He will be a freshman at Owens Community College, majoring in Criminal Justice.

The Young Women in Public Affairs Winner

Daughter of Bryan and Tracy Courtney, attended Arlington High School, was involved in Student Council, Class Officer, National Honor Society, French Honor Society and Science Honor Society. Was in Quiz Bowl, on the Science Olympiad Team, part of Youth for Christ Campus Life youth group, is a HOBY Alumni as well as a former Hancock Youth Leadership student. Volunteers at American Red Cross Blood Drives as well as being whole blood donor. Is attending University of Cincinnati and majoring in Psychology.
